Layouts and new products!!

Ok so i have been busy with the kids this last week. Over at my mom's most days. My oldest has enjoyed the new sandbox and the freedom of being able to come and go as he pleases from the house to the yard. My youngest sleeps so much better when we are there, well, except for last night but that was an intestinal problem that was fixed today. Poor kid evidently got backed up and a bottle of nothing but water helped him today. He was in a much better mood after one heck of a smelly diaper! LOL My husband and i have been cooking dinner over there so that she didnt have to worry about it. We also have been whacking down weeds that have had the chance to grow wildly over the winter, with all the rain we were having till recently we couldnt hack them down till now. But yard is looking much better, still a work in progress. We plan on putting in a few more toys and a swing set for my oldest to play on, but that all has to wait till we get further along with the yard clean up. So last night we did a big bbq for dinner and used the treager grill for it. And YUMMY it was. Well i was in charge of flipping the switch back and forth between High and low so i toted my pc out there and was playing with photoshop and some actions. I created a new product thatgoes perfectly alone or with my new kit Boy Town. I'll show you sometime soon, I cant seem to upload it right now to the store.. its got to be having issues.

Now I have some layouts that i would love to share with you. These were a lot of fun creating.

 These layouts are made using Natural Spring created by Inspired By Dominic Designs and JennCk Designs as well. In the layout above I used International Palms as my font for the date. The photo is of a friend and my oldest while at the Oregon Zoo walking through an area where the plants create an arch for the kids to walk through. Below, is a layout created with the same kit showcasing a photo of the neighbor girl in the rain with her pink umbrella.

 

 I have one last layout to show you and it is made using A collab between Inspired By Dominic Designs and JayaPrem's Hangout, it's called Beth. I also used Inspired By Dominic Designs Vol. 1 of her break it down.

Challenge 1!

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. With every challenge there are some basic rules. Follow all of the directions listed (some will be very different from others) and upload your layout to the gallery at Digiscrapstation, found here. Once you have done that, come back to the blog post for that challenge and post a comment, in that comment ALWAYS post with the same name. Always use the same name in the gallery at Digiscrapstation. If you don’t follow this, I can’t make sure you get any participation prize awarded for that challenge and I cant make sure that you are the one who gets the entry into the pot for one of the top 3 prize bundles.  Layouts will always be due no later than 12pm (midnight) PST (pacific standard time) on the date given, if no date is given then the layout is due by midnight on the 30th of June. Please also remember to add the key word phrase given with each challenge, ie; ms. jordan challenge 1
For every completed layout you will be given one (1) entry into the pot for one of the top 3 prize bundles. There will be some instances where you are able to earn a bonus entry into the pot. You will be given information on those along the way for those specific challenges.  If you have any questions please email me at ms_Jordan@ymail.com and I will gladly and promptly answer those questions. All questions asked will be compiled into a blog post that will be posted several times throughout the course of these wonderful month long adventure for those that seek answers before emailing me.

I was just asked if participants were allowed to use templates for this challenge? To answer that, Yes you are always allowed to use templates unless one is provided in which case you must use that one for your layout.

CT Call, layouts and a freebie!!

We named him Ball, He is a Blue Point Siamese!! Hes Beautiful. My camera is not working so the photo above of the cat is NOT Ball. Ball is much Cuter! i will try and get one up before too long.. its just hard not having a camera :(
I have 2 Lo's to share with you today. They are both for Scrappy Cats over at DSS. In both of these I used her Stitched Flourish Photoshop Action combined with the papers in her midnight moon kit to create the flourishes you see. The rest of the Lo is all of her Midnight Moon kit. I used her Glitter Shimmer Alpha for the lettering in both of the LO's and the word art in her kit.
1. 2 photos friends took while we were up on top of Rocky Butte just before the fire works started for the 4th of July 2008.
2. 5 photos all taken at Oaks Park Amusement park at night. This is Portland’s version of Coney Island.

This is simply an amazing kit! Cindy Ritter sure knows how to make an incredible kit! you can find Jeweled Grunge here and here (its in two parts). Wistful by Move Fearlessly Designs + a CU freebie!

These are 2 Layouts i made with Wistfull, by Move Fearlessly Designs, found here at DSS, The photos in them belong to my friend Zach "Rantan" and he took these on Foster Road, in outer south east Portland. The fonts used where 4yeostamp for the first lo and boring lesson for the sencond lo.

This is an AWESOME kit! I made 2 pages with this kit and loved every minute of it! they were so quick and easy to put together! The first LO is Cross-Fire.. He's one of our dogs, these are from when he was just a pup.. this is also for the Ad challenge at DigiByDesign. The Font used was International Palms.
The second LO is of James, he's my sister's little boy.. he was over at my step-mom's Shop and she gave him Oreos! my sister took these photos and asked me to make her a page and she would make one of my son Jesse.. i'll post the one she did soon...
