update once again

Sorry ladies and gents that I've been away a lot lately. I have my alcohol service permit now and have been training on my own time a the bar where I work as a cook. Hubby has been working a lot and we have had to get my oldest evaluated for some learning/speach/attention things. They want him back to do further testing sometime next week or after that. I'll let you know more after that.
As for my grandfather, he chose to not get chemo done after all. He decided for him being sick and the other bad things that come with chemo wasn't worth the extra 5% cure rate he would recieve. But he's doing great so far.
We will be going to the pumpkin patch here tomorrow after work! Can't wait and hope it doesnt rain.it will be a little while before you see anything new from me but i hope to get you lovely people some awesome holiday gifts and special treats for the season. so i hope to see you all around before too, life just has been so busy!

Update and an invite!!!

Hi there everyone.. I have an update for you all... My grandfather's surgery went fine and he's doing much better. They got all of the cancer from what they can tell but they are suggesting that he goes ahead with chemo just to be sure... We will find out more about that later tonight. Please keep him in your thoughts...

The kids are growing fast and i have quite a few photos that i'll be posting and scrapping before long. Dawson turns 6 months on monday the 27th!!! WOW boy does time fly! James is 3 and is starting to get a little excited over candy day as he calls it (Halloween). We have to see if he costume we got last year for him for this year will fit or if we need to get a new one for him.

Start keeping an eye out for freebies on my blog for the upcoming holidays.. I'll be doing some cards and gift tags as well as a few other things...

Ok now onto a few other things.

My adorable oldest son was playing at my mom's and found his uncles safety glasses and decided to put them on, just look at this cute photo i took!

We had his birthday last month just after his actual birthday and here are some photos of the grand affair! lol

Daddy sat with him when we sang happy birthday but he was crying because he wanted to play with the toy on his cake..

Finally he got to play with the toy on his cake! Yep that's Thomas!!!

After cake we did presents and here he was handing daddy a few toys and practically drooling trying to get daddy to open them for him. Of course daddy did so happily!

I can't believe my little boy is 3! I can remember so much about him being born and how amazing it was. The best feeling of all was finally holding him after waiting for so long. 

Here is another photo of my 3 year old, laying on the walk way at my moms watching her giant African Spur-Thigh Tortoise. He loves that thing. If you missed it before i spoke about here in another blog post a while back, here is where you can find that post.

So today we found out....

We found out today that my last grandpa has cancer. It's a small tumor on his upper lobe of one of his lungs which should be easily removed. He has an abnormality to one of his lymph nodes on that side (the one under the arm) and they may need to remove that and do chemo just to be on the safe side. My mom isn't handling it well at all, mostly because it's her last living parent. Because she is in such a bad mood she decided tonight she would take it out on the rest of us and pretend like we aren't effected by this new development in life so the kids and i are back at our house, still without a car. It's been in the shop for nearly 2 months now but we should be getting it back tomorrow, now i just need to find a way to work tomorrow. Yep, i have a job now. Only part time but that is much better than no job at all. I'm a cook up at the local VFW and i rather enjoy it there.
Yes, I am worried about my grandpa but i know personally that you can't change what it is and whatever the outcome may be will be what it is. Some of you might know that I had surgery for a type of skin cancer at age 19. I'm now 24 and happy (for the most part, working everyday to make life better and easier) and healthy. I know just how scary it can be to be told that you need surgery and it's for cancer. Something that i hope neither of my kids will have to endure and something that I hope i never have to deal with again. But I also dont think its right to take out your anger on people that have only been helping and making life easier on you as much as they can.
I would like to start getting a few designers together to work on a cancer charity kit. Based on this new development of lung cancer in my family i would like to focus on that form of cancer.
